What is Mechanical Preconstruction VE? It is the phase when overall mechanical project saving can be                achieved. Through understanding of Value Engineering (VE) is not a design/peer  review or a cost-cutting exercise. VE  is a creative,  organized effort, which analyzes the requirements of a project for the purpose of achieving the essential functions at the lowest total costs (capital, staffing, energy, maintenance) over the life of the project. Through a group investigation, using experienced, multi-disciplinary teams, value and economy are improved through the study of alternate design concepts, materials, and methods without compromising the functional and value objectives of the client.

From start to finish, we get deep into the challenges every Mechanical Estimator deals with. We breakdown challenges and make them less challenging.
Session MPCP-2
MEPS Project Controls - Preconstruction
Removing Waste by Monitoring Precon Cost
Review all requests, drawings and specs to verify, negotiate, validate upgrade and betterment requests. Make sure the request is accurately priced and not already included in the original scope and the original material gets credited if there is a change. Understanding how each widget benefits the project or does not offer any value.

Session MDD-4
